Invitation to tender – Unconscious Bias Training for Welsh language organisations

Posted Thursday February 11th, 2021 in the News category

Following shocking racist events in America during 2020, the injustice facing black people was brought to the world’s attention, and similar problems were highlighted here.

Many Welsh organisations realised the need to seriously challenge and consider how to rectify this situation within our own entities as well, exploring much more actively how we can better engage with members of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities (BAME) in Wales.

Organisations that promote the Welsh language, including the Mentrau Iaith, Mudiad Meithrin, Merched y Wawr, the National Eisteddfod, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, Young Farmers Wales and Urdd are keen to receive training on the subject.

Following funding from the Welsh Government, companies are invited to tender to create a suitable training package for staff of all partners working together on this Unconscious Bias scheme.
